Memorial Day Weekend Garden

We spent the day on Saturday putting in our garden. If all goes as planned we are going to have a bumper crop this year. We planted tomatoes, onions, lettuce, jalapeƱo peppers, cilantro, broccoli, beans, squash, strawberries, raspberries, a butterfly garden, and of course Natalie's flower...but you can't eat that. Grandma Shepherd bought me those sweet shades when we went to visit for Tristan and Terri's wedding.

Happy Memorial Day

We have been having a beautiful spring this year, but it seems that summer has finally arrived. It is 95 degrees today and beautiful, the girls were hot so we went down to the skivies. Have a happy Memorial Day

Omi and Papa visit

Omi and Papa stopped by to visit on their way out the the great far east. They will be sorely missed, and Maggie too. It was nice to have them here for 12 hours.

Summer Hats and Help with painting

Audrey and Natalie got their matching summer hats today.
As you can see the basement project has become a family affair. We are still trying to get the paint out from under her nails.
